Venture Solutions attended the mortgage industry’s largest conference, MBA Annual21, in October. This premier event unites industry leaders in the mortgage, real estate, regulatory, and technology markets to network and share ideas about business trends and challenges. The conference delivered a full spectrum of insight and discussion surrounding the hottest topics in the mortgage industry.
Diversity and minority homeownership were prevalent themes at the conference. MBA’s advocacy, partnerships, and industry connections increase homeownership opportunities for minority borrowers, expand opportunities for future borrowers, and maximize benefits for current homeowners. Venture Solutions is a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion and supports the MBA in this effort, which is why we have signed the MBA Home for All Pledge. The mortgage industry has embraced a digital transformation with electronic loan origination, remote
notary application, and self-service borrower interfaces. Venture Solutions is aligned to support this effort with digital strategies including e-documents, e-mail, SMS text alerts, personalized video communications, and a self-service portal to seamlessly manage customer communications.
Banks and mortgage servicers are navigating new trends in the pandemic forbearance landscape including desktop appraisals, rental credit history, and year-end regulations. While the requirements pose some challenges, customer experience remains a top priority. Existing systems, processes, and customer communications will need to be realigned to meet the new regulations and Venture Solutions is here to lead the way.
Venture Solutions enjoyed connecting and collaborating with mortgage industry experts at the first in-person MBA event in 2 years due to the global pandemic.
